Music: Brittney Morken

I’m so happy to be the music teacher at Fruitland Elementary!  I’ve grown up in a very musical family, and have enjoyed playing the piano since my mom taught me at 5 years old.  I grew up in a small community outside of Seattle, and moved to Idaho with my family while I was in college.  I graduated from Boise State University in 2009.  While at BSU, I enjoyed being part of choirs, studying the piano and voice.  Now, I live in Fruitland with my wonderful husband, Justin, and our 1 year old son, Cooper.  I sing and sometimes play the piano in our family worship team at church.  We both love traveling, and have gotten to travel to South Korea, all over California, the Caribbean, Minnesota, New York, Florida, and all through the Northwest and Midwest.  We both love writing music and character curriculum for children that we currently share with schools all across the country.  We’ve even been asked to bring our curriculum into all the public schools of Hawaii!  I love getting to be part of the lives of the children and their families in Fruitland!
