I teach K-4th grade music and love it! My family and I recently moved here and are proud to call Fruitland home. My husband and I are natives, having grown up in Ontario. We have been away for 17 years where we have lived in Albuquerque, NM, Washington D.C. area, and Logan, UT. We are excited to be back with family. We have three kids who all attend Fruitland schools. It has been fun to be their teacher! I have several years of teaching music. I taught in the Albuquerque public schools for a few years, then quit to become a stay-at-home mom. While I took care of my babies, I also taught private lessons and preschool classes. Directing children’s musicals and choruses was also a highlight. I had the opportunity to sing with the South West Opera company while in Albuquerque. I also was able to participate in several singing recitals and musical theater projects throughout the years. It was fun to do a variety of things, but I am glad to now be full time in a classroom.
This is my 14th year of teaching at Fruitland. I have taught 4th grade, Jumpstart Kindergarten, and 2nd grade. I love getting to know the kids & watching them grow

I started working at Fruitland Elementary in 2013 as a Kindergarten para. In 2015 I worked as the morning librarian as well as a Kindergarten para in the afternoon. In 2016 I moved to the Library full time . I love reading to the students and helping them find new books. I am married and have 2 daughters. There are so many wonderful parents and students that make Fruitland Elementary a wonderful place to work.
