I was born in Northern Idaho & attended the University of Idaho. I have lived in Idaho most of my life and love living here. My husband is an ER nurse at the St.Luke’s in Fruitland and we have one daughter.   We have 2 dogs & we love to go camping. I have been teaching since 2004.  I have taught 3rd and 6th grade, but 4th grade is my favorite grade to teach.  It is so much fun.  I  love my job and I am honored to be a part of the Fruitland School District.  This is a great community to work and live in.

This is my 18th year teaching at Fruitland Elementary School. I’m a hometown girl growing up here in Fruitland. I attended Fruitland Schools from K-12th grade and graduated from FHS in 1992. Go Grizzlies! I then attended TVCC earning an Associate of Arts Degree and transferred to Boise State. I graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors of Arts Elementary Education K-8. During fourth grade we will participate in challenging & rewarding learning opportunities that will foster academic, social , and personal growth. I am looking forward to a successful year with your student.

I am a lifelong resident of Idaho, beginning in Cambridge where I attended grades 1-12. From there I attended the University of Idaho. I began teaching at Fruitland 48 years ago, and I have occasionally enjoyed a 3rd generation student. I have been married to my husband Tracey for 45 years, we have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren so far. I enjoy reading and  traveling and have been able to visit 30 states. I love all things Idaho History-learning, teaching and collecting Idaho books. In Fourth grade we are constantly learning and I believe in challenging my 4th grade students every day.

I grew up & graduated from high school in Emmett, Idaho. I first attended TVCC and then moved on to receive my Bachelor Degree from Eastern Oregon University. I have been here at Fruitland Elementary since 2010. I have a wonderful supportive family who loves living in Fruitland. I believe I have the best job in the world, and I can’t think of anything else I would rather do every day.
