After High School I attended Idaho State University and I hold an Associates degree in General Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Speech & Language Pathology/ Audiology and Masters in Speech & Language Pathology. This is my third year working as a Speech Pathologist in a school setting-I work with Preschool through High School. I am married to Paul & we have 3 daughters. I love spending time with my family and I have recently started rock climbing. I am a bibliophile, and a fun fact: I speak Tagalog. My goal for this school year is to enrich the lives of students by providing improved communication skills.
Speech & Language Pathologist: Brandi Marion
Hello! I have been working for the Fruitland School District as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2016. I attended NNU and obtained my Bachelor’s in Public Communication, and then I went on to get my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at ISU Boise. I have 15 years of professional experience in various settings including outpatient, home health, acute care and skilled nursing. Prior to coming to Fruitland, I spent five years working at the St. Al’s Brain Injury and Concussion program where I also obtained my Certified Brain Injury Specialist credential. I have enjoyed the switch to working with kids in the schools. I currently serve students in elementary and middle schools. I enjoy building personal relationships with my students and helping them improve their communication skills. I live in Meridian with my husband Justin, our two kids, Jenna and Jace, and our “muggin” (pug/mini pinscher) dog named Stella. I enjoy reading, traveling, doing house projects, practicing mindfulness and being in nature.
My name is Rachel Essinger, and I have worked for the Fruitland School District as a para-professional in the Speech and Language Department since October 2016. I went to Fruitland schools through middle school and high school, graduating in 2002. I graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English, specializing in technical and professional writing. I live in Fruitland with my husband, Josh, and our two children, Zoe and Kolby. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, reading, drawing, and painting. I love working with students of all ages and helping them to be the best communicators that they can!
