I was born and raised in Ontario, Oregon. I went all the way through school there, got an AA from TVCC, then moved to Boise to attend Boise State. I got my BS from Boise State in Secondary Ed- History in 1997. I moved to Fruitland in 1997, worked as an outside salesman for NAPA Auto Parts for a year, then started teaching in 1999. I taught 7th grade social studies for 16 years, and became the Student Achievement Specialist in 2015.
My wife, Deanna, has taught 1st grade at Fruitland Elementary for 19 years. We have three kids, AdriAnne, Abigayle, and Chet.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy camping, boating, fishing, and restoring Ford Mustangs.
