Hello! I was born in southern Oregon but I have been a resident of southern Idaho since 1993. I am a graduate of the University of Oregon (class of ’89) and I am delighted to be teaching here at Fruitland Middle School! I live with my husband and my son on our farm just outside of New Plymouth. My husband is retired from the Air Force and is now a full-time farmer while my son attends first grade at Fruitland Elementary. We also have a foreign exchange student living with us, Trung (pronounced Chung), who is attending Fruitland High School. I had a wonderful 20-year career at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare but always wanted to be a Teacher “when I grew up”. Last year I received my Idaho Teaching Certificate and this year I was lucky enough to begin teaching 6th grade. I love coming to school every day and I love getting to work with the students in my classes!
