Save the Date!

District News
Save the Date! Due to the current restrictions caused by Covid-19, our 2020 graduation ceremony planned for May 18th will be postponed. At this time we are planning to hold graduation at the FHS football field: Monday, June 15th 5:30 pm The highest priority will be to have graduates walk across the stage to receive their diplomas.  If it is possible under restrictions at that time, we hope that parents and/or families will be able to attend.  The event will be live-streamed for those unable to attend. Plans are also being made for the showing of a Senior Class video later that evening at Parma Motor Inn. More information will be sent at a later time.  While all plans are subject to change, a final announcement will be sent out by June 8th.

Recognition of Success

Recognition of Success

District News
I want to congratulate our high school--staff, students, and parents--as well as all of our district and community on the recognition from US News yesterday.  Fruitland High School was named as the third best high school in Idaho and received a silver medal award, indicating that it was identified as a high performing high school nationally!   Recognition of success at the high school reflects on the entire school district--every grade level, every building, every department, every employee, every school board member--as well as on the tremendous support that our parents and community give us.  Because high school is the culmination of our students' education in Fruitland, success at that level depends on the efforts of everyone who impacts our students during their entire educational jou

Out Of District Enrollment

District News
Parents and guardians, our district has seen a significant growth in enrollment this year; we anticipate that growth will continue in the future.  Our district policy on open enrollment is based on available space in grade levels, classes, and programs.  As enrollment increases, we have decreasing ability to serve students from outside our district. If students are living outside our district and have not been approved for open enrollment, parents must submit open enrollment applications by Monday, December 5th to be considered for attendance second semester.  This includes students who began the year living in the district and have since moved to another school district, as well as students who have been living outside the district and have not been approved for this school year. &n
