Dear Patrons,
The fire department was called to the High School Today during the noon hour. A fire was discovered in the AG building and was quickly distinguished by the Fruitland Fire Department. Some welding coveralls in a locker caught on fire and the fire was contained to the lockers and one wall. There were no injuries due to this event.
Because of the amount of smoke the AG students will be meeting in the library for the remainder of the day.
The Fruitland School District would like to thank and commend the Fruitland Police and Fire Departments for their quick response and actions in helping keep our students and staff safe.
