The Grizzly Corridor will be open its regular hours of Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM until Wednesday, May 22nd. The Corridor will be closed the week of May 27th.
Starting June 3rd, the Grizzly Corridor will be open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM every Monday through the month of July. All items available are FREE!
Donations will continue to be accepted, and can be dropped off on the back porch of the Corridor throughout the summer.

The Fruitland School District Board of Trustees Selects Next Superintendent to Lead the District
In March, the Fruitland School District Board of Trustees selected Stoney Winston as the next Superintendent at its Regular School Board Meeting. Stoney Winston will replace Superintendent Lyle Bayley, who retires at the end of June.

Due to continued hazardous road conditions, we will be canceling all classes in the Fruitland School District tomorrow, January 18th. The roadways have been evaluated
for safe travel this evening and they remain hazardous. We plan to resume classes on Monday, January 22nd at regular time. If additional closures are needed, we will send another notice at that time.

If you are interested in being a substitute teacher and would like to learn more about it, we will be having a sub-training academyTODAY, October 5th from 10 a.m. to noon at the district office. In order to work in the Fruitland School District, you will be required to attend the sub-training academy. The sub-training academies will be held on the first Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
All substitute teachers, returning and new, must attend a training academy in order to be eligible to sub in the Fruitland School District. Our district mentor teacher will be providing useful information and tools that are critical to being a successful substitute teacher. You are only required to attend one training per year to remain an active sub and you will receive $25 for attending. You can attend as many trainings as you would like, but will only receive the pay one time per school year.

2, 4, and 5 are available at the Fruitland School District Office located at 401 S. Iowa Ave. Completed declaration forms are due to the Fruitland School District Office no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2023.
Write-in candidates filing an intent to run for Trustee office must be completed and returned to the Fruitland School District Office no later than 5:00 pm Friday, September 15th, 2023.

The Fruitland FFA will be starting the annual Hanging Basket Sale this next Tuesday, May 9, from 7 am to 7 pm at the Ag Science building by the tennis courts. After opening day, you can stop in during school between 7:30-4:30.

UPDATE: FRUITLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS GIVEN THE FRUITLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT THE OK TO REMOVE THE LOCKDOWN. ALL STUDENTS ARE SAFE AND THE SCHOOL DAY WILL RETURN TO NORMAL.
